Remember when liberal media outlets mocked President Trump for suggesting that Sweden had been negatively affected by the refugee crisis ravaging Europe? I’m not hearing a peep out of those critics now.
As you’ve probably heard, a 39-year-old Uzbek national carried out a deadly terrorist attack in Stockholm Friday, mowing down unsuspecting shoppers with a stolen beer truck. He killed at least four and wounded at least 15 others. (According to recent reports, he’s an asylum seeker. The Swedish Migration Agency rejected his application.) Authorities also have reason to believe he’s an ISIS-sympathizer.
“Sweden has been attacked. This indicates that it is an act of terror,” Prime Minister Stefan Lofven said after the attack
It gets worse. You know those “no-go zones” progressives like to pretend don’t exist? A group of Swedish anti-terror police officers who were responding to the terror attack were pelted with rocks in an “immigrant no-go zone” area.
It is thought that the officers were taking part in an operation to arrest a 17-year-old and his mother at an address linked to the 39-year-old prime suspect.
“During the night my colleagues were exposed to stone throwing in [the suburb of] Tensta, in the middle of an ongoing terror operation,” officer Abdallah Ahmed said, according to the Daily Mail. “Some people will never learn.”
“To terror I want to say one thing, in pure Swedish: go to hell. My thoughts go to those affected in every way,” he added.
He added: ‘Do not pray for Sweden. Stand up for Sweden, fight for Sweden and die for Sweden.’
A police officer working in the same unit, who did not want to be named, confirmed to MailOnline separately that the attack had taken place.
Once again, Trump was proven right. Kinda freaky how that keeps happening.
