Russia Replies: Attack Syria Again, Force Will Be Used Against You

Russia and Iran have released a combined statement threatening use of force if President Trump were to attack Syria again.

In a declaration from the alliance backing Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, composed of Russia, Iran and the Syrian regime, they launched a statement that if their “red line” happens to be crossed again, they will “reply with force.”

“What America waged in an aggression on Syria is a crossing of red lines. From now on we will respond with force to any aggressor or any breach of red lines from whoever it is and America knows our ability to respond well,” the group’s joint command center said.

Donald Trump stated the attack – on the al Sharyat airbase near Homs, using over 60 Tomahawk missiles was “symbolizing the world.” That base was supposedly used by the Syrian Air Force to carry out the attack, which murdered more than 70 civilians.

Michael Fallon, the UK Defense Secretary, said on Sunday that Vladimir Putin is “accountable for every civilian death” in the town of Khan Sheikhoun, The Independent informs.

G.Britain, France and the United States hold Assad responsible for gassing the opposition-held town, regardless of the claim that Damascus ruined their complete stockpile of chemical weapons under Russian oversight in 2013.

The statement by the “joint command” expressed that the missile attack would not prevent it from “liberating” Syria and that the military force in the country’s northern region can be perceived an “illegal occupation.”

US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson stated on Sunday that Moscow had unsuccessfuly carried out the 2013 agreement to protect and destroy Syrian chemical weapons.

“The failure related to the recent strike and the recent terrible chemical weapons attack in large measure is a failure on Russia’s part to achieve its commitment to the international community,” he said on ABC’s This Week.

Mr Tillerson is anticipated in Moscow in the next few days for a discussion with Russian officials.
